Baytown Set To Host Nike Bayou Bowl 2010

Baytown, TX, May 17, 2010 – The Bayou Bowl Association has plans underway for the 8th Annual Nike Bayou Bowl. Kickoff at Stallworth Stadium is set for June 12th at 8:00p.m. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Network and streaming live on their website.

Executive Director of Bayou Bowl and Chamber President and CEO, Tracey Wheeler, says this is going to be another exciting year of all-star high school football.

Players will arrive in Baytown on June 8th for a week full of events, leading up to the game on Saturday, June 12th.

Some activities include a trip to Reliant Stadium to practice and watch the Houston Texans, an evening at Houston Raceway Park’s new Tower Club, and an autograph session during Fan Fest, Friday June 11th at San Jacinto Mall. A golf tournament benefitting Bayou Bowl will also be Friday June 11th at Eagle Pointe. Before the game Saturday, the players will have a banquet in their honor.
